Mavi Sánchez-Vives – Transforming lives with virtual reality – Science Unlimited 2019


Mavi Sánchez-Vives uses virtual reality to understand how the brain works and studies VR tools for therapy such as abusive partners. In her talk at Science Unlimited 2019, she showed how our brains can accept virtual bodies as our “own” and how immersive virtual reality can help change our perspectives and behaviors.
